I’ll never understand cutting pizza like this – it completely negates the handheld ability of slices

I’ve been wanting to try this pop up so bad. As someone from Chicago, we never ate deep dish. I think I’ve eaten it less than a handful of times in my life, it’s mostly sold at touristy spots. Tavern style has been the pizza I’ve had my whole life.

Yes, the *true* Chicago style pizza. Deep dish – while delicious – isn’t the norm in Chicagoland.

Stella Barra, in Santa Monica, has a good one, too!

This place seems a little shady they don’t have a permanent store address and they don’t give you a pick up address until you first pay for your pizza in advance online. If it’s a food truck they should just say that upfront.
And their webpage only shows one type of pizza mentioned above with notation “SOLD OUT” with no other pizza options?

The idea that it’s Chicago-style as opposed to St Louis Style but with normal toppings is weird.
