    I had to improvise with one ingredient a bit. Dark brown sugar is a pretty unusual ingredient in germany. There is brown sugar, but it’s fairly different from the brown sugar you get in the US. The brown sugar you get here isn’t mixed with molasses. I used brown cane sugar instead. Not the same at all, but it’s still the best cookie recipe I have ever tried. Fantastic cookies.
