Apologies for the lackluster photo, I was in a rush to eat this after waiting 45 minutes for my to-go order. This was easily the most I’ve paid ($36) and the longest I’ve waited for a sandwich. While the chips weren’t anything special, the sandwich itself was legit delicious. This isn’t what I would call the most “authentic” philly cheesesteak as they don’t use spray cheese and the grease doesn’t leak through the bag, but it’s what you would expect from a steakhouse with high-quality beef and plenty of favor (especially with the long hot pepper). Is it worth the price? Probably not… instead, I would recommend going to Matu for dinner for their steaks or when they do the collaboration with Moo’s and do beef ribs.

I’m still looking for a replacement for Philly West.

I highly recommend Philly Jay’s in Alhambra. Outstanding Philly cheesesteaks at a great price.
