Got a chance to check out Imanishi Japanese Kitchen this weekend. This has been on my list since a bartender at Aloette recommended it to me last year. Have to say it was fantastic. Small plates so you get a large variety for the money (think tapas style).
Sat at the bar and the service was great. Highly recommend the corn karaage.

imanishi slaps every time, I think their sando bar is closed (last time I checked google) but if it re-opens defos worth checking out too, a great stroll snack in a park c:

Looks like they haven’t changed their “shrimp salad” in years. Was not a fan of it when I went, because it was mostly cilantro, and less shrimp. And I love cilantro.
