My Ironwood 885 just stopped working last night and got the “fan disconnected” error. I attempted to reseat the cable going into the controller but that didn’t work so may need a replacement. My issue is that I would like to use it sooner than a replacement could get shipped. I noticed that the induction fan looks like and is the same size as a standard 120mm pc case fan and was curious as to if it would be compatible or even safe. I assume it’d be fine as its located under the hopper and assuming it away from heat sources.
