
I have had this dish at Mandu Llang in Annadale Virginia USA so many times, and I have tried searching for a similar recipe online but I have continually failed.
Does anyone know of a good recipe to make to make this soup? Or another name it might go by that I can use to search.

I think it’s some form of Deulkkae Soondubu Jjigae (Soft Tofu Stew with Perilla Seeds). Perilla seeds are similar to sesame seeds but darker, hence “black sesame.”

EDIT: it’s called “deulkkae dubu jeongol” aka perilla tofu hot pot… so may be slightly different than soft tofu stew.
I haven’t had this before and am totally excited to make it! Sounds delicious
Fyi it’s not black sesame but perilla seeds.
