They definitely are super small, I would get them from Barrett’s coffee shop down the street. Once the egg prices went up, the tacos got smaller. Eggs prices have gone down..

Are they still at the same location off Airport? The business owner had mentioned that the building owner didn’t want to spend the money to fix the building and the city had condemned it.

Swung today after I drove by and saw them open. Soooo happy they’re open again. It’s just nice to support a local taqueria run by nice people. Tacos are well priced, diverse in flavor, and the place just has an old Austin vibe to it. Interior definitely doesn’t feel the same since before the ice storm, but I’m willing to give it time.

What is the interior like post-remodel? Is it just the dark back area or do they have the full space with the big windows again?

That plate! I got those plates in 2004 (from HEB?) when I started college. I only have one left and it just got put in our donations box… Got me feeling nostalgic.

I was actually coming to post this as well haha. Brazas is my all time favorite for consistent tacos that are good and reasonably priced

I wish the rest of the country would stop wrapping mexican food in foil like chipotle. San Diego has it right. Yellow paper and that’s it. Never soggy.
