Authentic, home style Japanese food, since 1956. Small place with counter seating a few booths. The one lady working was super cool, and the food was amazing. I loved the curry, which had more vinegar and ginger than I’m used to. A great old school gem in Boyle Heights.

Hope things calmed down a bit for the owner to handle. There was a piece on Vice and it really blew up and got super busy. I think its just her and one other person that run the restaurant. Love that place, need to pay it a visit again.
