I didn’t descale mine for almost 3 years ( in my defence I didn’t know I had to) then in less than a week it stopped working completely. I paid nespresso to fix it, they descaled it too, and now for another 3 years I should be fine 😝 P.s true story but I will try to take care of my machine from now on
