I have no idea is this is the same word, but it does say “Holdaak” in Korean 😂
Also, mini rant: this location (Highland Park) used to be great, and now the chicken is terrible. The fries are still good, though.

Chicken in korean is spelled 닭 but pronounced like daak.

yeah I’ve never tried another location but that one in HP always has some dry-ass chicken. I moved here from Koreatown where I had Michin Dak. such a downgrade.
