  1. The tips are really helpful, Ivan and my beefsteak tomatoes are indeed coming. It is my first time growing them since I always grew volunteer ones only.

  2. Hi Ivan, I'm checking my toms daily, I've everything growing in pots around my garden & inside my Greenhouses. I wouldn't have known to do that if not for watching your vids. I'm new this yr to this Gardning lark and felt really proud when I started to see my first flowers on my toms plants, Do all potatoe plants flower though, I was told not all varieties did, so not sure when to harvest them.. Thankyou for another informative video…

  3. Another question please Ivan…
I've loads of lettuces, Rocket & Spinach but no cucumber or toms no where near ready yet.. would it not be best to seed my salad leaves later so they are ready same time as toms, cucumber… like I mentioned, this is all new to me.. Thankyou

  4. Can you get an upset tummy from eating mange tout straight from the plant? Yesterday I did that as they looked so lovely like yours, 2 hours later I was pretty ill, different reports on google saying they shouln't be eaten uncooked, is this true as I'm sure I've seen them in salads

  5. Thank you love your channel Ivan. I have not got a clue, have all my plants in pots, not a grass garden. Will do as you suggested and check all the plants. Just had a look at my cucumber plants, have grown like crazy in the last 3 days, so they defiantly need sorting out. I have learnt so much from just watching and listening to the information you give. Just hoping I don't kill everything !

  6. I'm growing 6 cherry tomato plants in growbags using the halo's. In greenhouse Everything is growing well. I popped a 3 small basil seedling in with 3 tomato at base. Id read somewhere that basil grown with tomato is a good pairing . And can alter the flavour so im leaving 3 without basil to see if its fact or myth 😅.

  7. Thanks for a great update Ivan, everything is looking really good. Just been out to remove lower leaves from my tomatoes. Enjoy the mangetout. Thanks for sharing. See you on the cooking channel.

  8. I had to laugh Ivan when you showed the tomato plant in the basket, i mistakenly thought you were referring to it as a little ba**ard 😊

  9. Thanks for all your work Ivan… have you ever grown Wet Garlic… think it's also called Elephant Garlic 🤔…

  10. Brilliant yet again, 😊
get my first ever real greenhouse on 30th June im so excited,
took my first early potatos this week, carrots parsnips onions are looking fab, tomatos are brilliant still only got 1 snap pea and ive sewn more 🫢 but loving life 😂

  11. Hi. Have you seen those ying yang beens. They look fab. Ive been trying to find some but wont get them in time to grow this year. But i will get them next year. Dried out and put into jars they will look so cool.
    Happy gardening.
Now off to check my toms. Maria.

  12. It looks probable that my sunflowers could have verticillium wilt. Is there anything that I can do to save my tomatoes and strawberries?
I bought miracle gro all purpose compost and everything has been planted in containers, so the infection must have come from the soil. I need more compost for planting my broccoli and aubergine but I am scared that the soil will be infected too. Is there anything I can do to prevent it from the beginning?
