As loved as it was, still feel like it was slept on. Really like the vibe in there too. Bummer with the family disputes.

    Sad to hear, they had a great tavern style pizza that will be dearly missed. Anyone have recommendations for alternative places to get a tavern style slice?

    I grew up in Bucktown in the 80’s and Johns was the first phone number I memorized… 384-1755. We would order a special. I can still taste the canned mushrooms. Their veal parmigiana was something else!
