    RECIPE!

-500g pasta (sturdier ones work better than the fragile ones, I used rigatoni here)

    – 2 Chicken breasts, chopped into bite size bits (you could also use a rotisserie chicken

-200g of diced bacon (this is optional, but delicious)

-1 jar of cheese pasta bake sauce

-3/4 packet French onion soup mix

    -200mL cream

-Cheese for the top, I used Parmesan and tasty cheese

Cook the pasta to packet instructions *minus* 2 minutes (so, cooked, but firm, rather than al dente). Drain and put into large baking dish. Mix the jar of sauce, the cream and the French onion soup mix and pour over pasta. Cook the chicken and bacon however you like and add to the pasta. Gently stir everything together and grate your cheese on top. Stick in the oven at 190°C or under the grill until cheese is melted, golden and bubbly

If you are adding bacon to the dish, don’t make the pasta water super salty
