One of my favourite pubs has a hot pork scratching machine and if you are a bit more peckish the only other food they do are pies from a local farm shop. A really well kept pint of landlord with side of warm pork pie, brown sauce and warm pork scratchings is my idea of a perfect meal.

Best snack ever. Having had this bad boy for nearly 50 years, my own when I make a pork roast is the best crisp ever. Many packets have odd soggy one which are not good.

Quality brand as well! Was gutted when my local changed brands, 3 weeks later after hardly selling any, back to the good old Q

Black Country are the daddy of scratchings. Not many pubs down here do anything but Mr Porky but I’ve been finding Black Country in Farm Foods and I stock up.

I had it once. They’re not supposed to taste rancid are they?

When I was a kid at the workingmen’s club in the 1980’s a man used to come round with cockles mussels and pork scratchings.
I used to get my mom to buy me a load and pig out. My wife buys me a couple of big bags from the local shop.
