"That's the size of a baby's head."
More like the size of a baby! 😂
Looks so good, Ben! Those bean flowers are so pretty!!!!! ❤
Been waiting for a tour!!
Everything in my garden is growing extremely slowly. I honestly don't think I'm going to get anything worthwhile before the season ends.
Would love to know ur grow zone
Hey, Ben! Beautiful garden! Only thing growing well here are peppers and okra – Temps here in North Florida are in the 90's and fixin' to be upper 90's this afternoon. It's too hot for this old lady to get out to much, so most of my garden is a weedy mess. I'll remedy that in September, when I start planting my Fall crops – Brassicas, beets onions and over-wintered carrots.
A very enjoyable video!
Wowzera is right Ben, Cheers, fantastic garden !
I absolutely love you and your videos! Keep up the good work!
Wow, Ben and Rosie!😃 Y'all's garden is beautiful! The produce is beautiful!👍I enjoyed the tour and tips. That rose is a showstopper!😃👍
Wow! You've done so many great things to minimize effort and maximize production. Congratulations on a banner year, despite the drought. Thank you for sharing your hard work and beautiful garden!
That’s a big babies head it’s as big as yours
Your garden is amazing. That rose is spectacular.
After creating a native wildlife habitat in my garden, I’ve seen less pests. I thought I would be done expanding the garden by now but I can’t seem to get content with the amount of raised beds I have. I want more. I’m pretty sure I’ll be expanding again year after next. I’ve found a green bean I enjoy so I want to plant more of that so I can can it for use over the winter. Zucchini has been prolific this year and I enjoy the yield and the weekly bread making I use it in. Patty pan squash has been a welcome surprise. I enjoy the omelette I make with that. Fall crops will be acorn squash, sweet dumpling squash, peas, black turtle beans, and carrots

Thanks for these videos. A word of caution. For those people, like me, who are susceptible to oxalate kidney stones, rhubarb and spinach are loaded with oxalic acid. Eating a lot of them may bring on kidney stones later and for those who have had stones, they could occur. Not a fun experience.
i knew i started my spring stuff too late and my spinach said two baby leaves an im bolting 😀
two pet rabbits produce insane amounts of compost (200-400 poops per day each tiny 3 pound rabbit) They also eat hay and leave a bunch left over with the poop. so much garden material with the hay to grow in or put on top of beds and the poop to fertilize and fill beds. they also say its not "hot" and you can use it right in the garden with no wait.
pet rabbits do best with a bonded partner that they will be with all day everyday side by side wherever they go
we all know what the real best smelling plant ( marry juan a ) but I do have some super fragrant varieties of roses too that I like. Iv never had good luck with garlic but ill try again.
So what was the spinach variety?
Did you plant your fava beans in the spring? I planted mine last fall as a cover crop, and they recently dried out, and I got a nice harvest of dry beans. I've never actually planted them in spring, but they make a nice cover crop for fall and winter.
Do you have a video of how your bean arches were made?
Thx Ben. Nice garden. I am growing poached egg plants for the first time. I'm hoping they spread. I think I put them in too much sun, but I have buds . Fingers crossed they spread. Thx for all the good info you pass on.
Your garden looks like slug heaven
My lettuce has been awesome! I grew potatoes and garlic for the first time this year. I have beautiful eggplant and have had to spray full throttle hose on the aphids and it has really helped. I have a few ladybugs. I think we have fewer helpful insects because our neighbors spray chemicals on their lawns….our yard is the insect haven of the neighborhood 🙂
So halpful! Thank You!
absolutely fantastic! i cant get over the beauty and simplicity, you have shown so many ways to have so much packed into one patch of land! ive learned all your tips over the last couple of years watching your videos and i have made some things in my own garden like yours. i now have a bean arch between two beds like that one. weather here in tennessee is really bad this year tho, and things are so stunted. i wish i had established more last year, it hasnt been a good time to try and put in the new beds. weather reports from all over the country are bad right now. i just wonder about all this weird "fog" that isnt fog and cant possible be wildfire smoke this far south. it has come and gone several times out of nowhere. its just a haze all day long. never seen anything quite like it, i dont even want to be out in it. i hope your garden is doing better than ours over here, from the video it looks amazing!
its bigger than your head lol.
On the evenings that the brown bins go out I head out with my head tourch and my own Brown bin. Ten mins later I have a bin full of grass and veg cuttings that go straight on to my compost pile;)
You can also use coffee grounds to mask the smell.
Your videos always bring so much joy. You have such great enthusiasm and you just "shine". Really enjoyed your tour. Glad to see you had a good spinach year. I had my best one ever this year,….not sure why, but who am I to question. I just enjoyed every bite!
As always, you have shared some great ideas. Your garden looks brilliant!! God Bless you and yours and here’s to lots of harvest!!
Nice cabbages :}
Great vid as always love x
I love watching your videos. Due to my budget and the increased prices for vegetable plants in the U.S., I decided to start some plants from seed this year, especially since I have so many different varieties. But I have not been successful. The majority of my seeds did not germinate, including my cucumbers and peas, which usually germinate easily. I even used my pop-up Greenhous, which is on top of my elevated raised be, to protect the seeds from wildlife and dips in the temperature. What should I do differently to get my seeds to germinate?
Use tomato clips for indeterminate tomatoes.
I would love a video of you making your Gooseberry pudding; I've never heard of such a recipe. Sounds sweet!
You are the best channel by far for practical advice and inspiration …
Can you move a squash, without damaging it?
Last year you said that Chard has replaced your need for Spinach, did something change this year?
Love it my chadwich cherry tomatoes are doing great
