
I’ve tried every homemade iced coffee method out there, [but this one is the easiest](https://www.tastingtable.com/1321982/brewing-trick-best-iced-coffee-drip-maker/). You basically use half the amount of water you would normally use and place the other half in the carafe in the form of ice. The hot coffee drips onto the ice and automatically cools, thus removing any bitterness. There are mason jars, no cheesecloth, and no heaps of wet grounds to dispose of.
