It’s only too watery if you prefer it thicker

If it tastes too watery, add a teaspoon or two of tomato paste and mix
Continue adding until you get a good texture

It looks great! If you’d like it a little thicker, add some masa. Delish!

Looks like the consistency my family likes it. If you like thicker I prefer using instant mashed potatoes to thicken stuff, doesn’t break down like flour or cornstarch can do over time

It looks amazing, cool you cooked it in Crock Pot, my go to Pot for cooking chilli.

Looks perfect to me! Some crackers, Fritos or cornbread when served would help absorb liquid if it’s too thin for your tastes.

I forgot to put cumin in it is that a necessary herb ? To put in chilli ?

Looks great! If you prefer it thicker, a lot of chili recipes call for masa harina or corn flour as a thickening agent. It does alter the flavor, but I personally like it a lot.

I make mine even thinner. Wife loves it that way and so do I. Yours looks perfectly delicious and if you like it then that’s all that matters.
