Anyone have ingredient suggestions for homemade chicken noodle soup ?
Does anyone have suggestions for spices and what not ?

Chicken.

White wine vinegar before you serve it. A teaspoon is good, stir in. Leave it for a couple minutes and serve.

Chicken, carrots, celery, onion, dill and served with noodles. Oh and a bit of salt and pepper. I do like that suggestion for cayenne pepper. Play with the recipe. You have the basics now add what YOU like. This is cooking, it is an experiment. Enjoy. I also like to serve with rice. It freezes well too. Nothing like homemade soup when you don’t feel well.

The one just above is probably better but the one I often go back to is simply : chopped chicken breast (I know people say thigh is better – I’m different) with cubes of potato, diced carrot and sweet corn kernels.
For spices Paprika goes beautifully with the above, perhaps with dried or fresh coriander. Otherwise just the Paprika – sometimes the more simple the better.
