They are all like that, but I couldn’t find photos of the others.

I’ve always wondered how consistent brew temperatures are by the time the water gets to the group head. I imagine it’s pretty reliable, but I’m curious how they manage that with a significantly longer distance between the heating element and the coffee.

Dragged my fiancée around Barcelona to find this place.
We go in, and I marvel at the machine and the dedication they have to proper coffee.
So we go to order and I get my usual flat white.
She orders a latte, with a shot of caramel syrup.
The guy at the counter stares at her.
She stares back.
I stare at her.
He proceeds to say they don’t do syrups… with a look of mild disgust on both of our faces as though the coffee gods have been offended.
We then exited.
I explained how she had broken a sacrosanct rule, and places like that would never offer syrup and ruin the sweet nectar of the coffee gods.
She stares at me, and drinks her coffee.
End of the story is I got this sweet swan latte art, and she does not have syrup in coffee anymore.
We have a similar setup here in Copenhagen in a coffee place called Artisan

Brklyn cafe in poblenou also has a setup like this. They also roast their own coffee in house (their roaster is literally in the windown next to the counter).
BUT, their coffee is not that great. I go there everytime I go to my office since it’s literally in front of it, but there are many better. It’s still a nice chill spot with decent sandwiches and sweets

Loads of these here In Edinburgh. In fact I’ve seen this setup quite a lot in the UK. Makes for a nice open bar setup.

This is the NOMAD coffee bar, they also have a very well known roastery.
Oh how I miss café con hielo! Going to make it as soon I’ll get an espresso machine.
Woman aren’t well known espresso drinkers?
Onyx’s coffee bars that I have seen are like this too except a little more customized and truly built into the counter.
