Blackberry Caramel Tart [Claire Saffitz]

    First time ever making this tart and actually the first time I ever made a caramel. I’m a fairly seasoned amateur bread baker but not much of a dessert or pastry person. However, I was pretty satisfied with the results but mistakes were made with the crust. I feel like I overcooked the crust by about 5 minutes and it was tough to really get an even layer. That said, it tasted fantastic and I loved the recipe.

    I did cool down the filling in an ice bath for 3-4 minutes prior to pouring it in which I recommend.
