After seeing the majority of posts here are negative reviews I really don’t know if I should bother with this now
To buy or not to buy? First box would be roughly £10.

Don’t let it discourage you, especially at that price! It seems to vary depending on the distribution center. I haven’t had many issues, and I used HF for over a year. You can check out the weekly menu on their website before signing up. See if there’s anything appealing.

Don’t get to hung up on the negative reviews. People are quick to complain, about anything. More often than not, the complaints are without real merit.

Think of it the other way around. People mostly go out of their way to subreddits to complain. In my opinion there’s a lot of posts here simply saying “I made x and it was really good 9/10” which in my opinion is a very good sign since people don’t normally go out of their way to praise something.
My experience so far:
Pros – it’s good food, a decent portion, you save time buying at the grocery store, keeps me from eating out
Cons – cooking is pretty time consuming (but all cooking is going to be) and you are definitely paying a more premium price for convenience but you know exactly what you are spending
It’s at least worth a shot, worst case you get a cheap week of meals and learn a thing or two about cooking
Another thing is I’m in the US and I consistently see people say it’s much better in Europe for what it’s worth

Try it for yourself and see. If you don’t like it don’t get it again 🤷♀️

Just read everything properly. Most people who complain didn’t read that it is a subscription, that there is deadline until which you can cancel or choose your meals etc.

Bad news tends to make more ripples! I’ve had two boxes so far from Hello Fresh and have thoroughly enjoyed it.

I’m in Ireland and HF works really well here! Most of the bad reviews I saw were from the USA.
