Stupid question probably but is this ground beef bad? It’s from sundays delivery 4 days ago and arrived frozen.

Looks good to me! Nice and pink. It probably froze being between the ice packs.

Looks fine to me – cook it well done if you are concerned,

No not at all! Look at that gray coloring around it it’s going bad. 4 days is long to be in fridge. Should have been cooked within 1-2 days.

If your sense of smell isn’t bad (Covid, etc…) you may want to set some aside (just a bit) in a small container and set it out for a day, then refrigerate it again. Take a sniff of the ‘bad’ test every day until it gets furry. That way you can tell the difference. [Bad meat](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSVTNUBteMg) gets a rancid, tangy smell that good raw or cooked meat doesn’t have, has a green or brown tinge and feels sticky.

Looks fine unless it smells. Chances are the packaging got punctured during shipment, and it started to oxidize. I normally eat those packs first because they can spoil quicker, especially if the package leaked.
