I had no idea the basket bulges this much on a choked shot. Even with a good extraction, it bulges almost the same amount. Crazy. (IMS 54mm)

When my shots choke, the over-pressure valve on my machine caps the pressure at 11 bars. That amounts to putting a 160 pound weight in the center square inch of the portafilter’s sceeen. No wonder it bulges this much!
