One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life was in Lao. So on one hand I would love to try this, on the other I’m so worried I’ll be disappointed.

It’s good, but if you’re not into pla ra/pa daek, it may not be for you. The fermented fish flavor in the papaya salad is a lot for the uninitiated. Everything else is bomb.
