I know it seems late in the gardening year, but there is still a lot of planting you can do during the month of July. There are a few warm-season garden crops to plant in July and there are also some more heat-tolerant cool-season crops that you can plant now in anticipation of your fall garden. The point is to get out there and get some planting done in your garden!

I'm gona just wait to plant my greens & herbs 🌿 & berries in the fall. ❤
Will it work for zone 6b?
Great video! I can’t find the link to the winter gardening class you talked about. Can you help?
How do you overwinter onions?6b…Ga
Fantastic! I wondered if there was still stuff I could plant as I have one 4 X 4 open box. LOVED the video on heat proofing our crops.. So glad beets are still viable. Wondered if it's too late for carrots?
If the beets we planted early on have become bitter, could we leave them til the first frost to sweeten them a bit, or is it a lost cause? I think an early hot/dry spell stressed them out.
I don't understand why not one gardening channel ever talks about speckled butterbeans. They are so expensive at our farmers market. And the frozen ones are not good at all. 🙏🇺🇸🌼🌽🍉🍓
Great video… great info for zone 5b … new bed just built and I didn't know what to plant. I will give beets a try👍
We are still trying to finish putting in plants! Cold nights in zone 6 have kept it from happening until a couple of weeks ago. It's okay. They will grow.
What do you put in after harvesting garlic and potatoes in the middle of July?
Thank you for sharing this information about what to plant in July.
I have a question. Im growing kale right now and iv been harvesting quite a bit but still growing very nicely. But can i leave it outside throughout the winter? Im in zone 6 in ohio. I know kales like the cold. But would it survive outside throughout the winter still? Or would it die and ill have to re plant in spring again? 😩I really wanna keep it all going

Awesome as usual.

Rick, HELP! The grasshoppers are attacking my raspberries again this year. Last year they got all of the berries and then went to work on the leaves. I got chickens, but they are WAY outnumbered. I put netting over them, but the grasshoppers seem to find a way under the netting. How do I anchor the netting to keep the little "buggers" out.?
Link for fall brassica crops please? Did not show up in this vid. Thanks!
Thank you Rick
Extremely helpful information 👍
Thank you.
