I said it in the previous inquiry and I’d say it again:

    HOL FREAKING BOX

  2. BrownBear5090

Definitely deserved, insane quality, easy to access, and reasonable prices.

I live down the street and never been here. Is it really that good?

BTW I dont like fish tacos. Do they got shrimp tacos?

  4. KamkarInsurance

    I can’t believe I still haven’t gone there

Hot take: Kinn’s approach to octopus is better than Holbox’s pulpo taco.

    Come at me.

Glad they chose a worthy recipient this year

So LA Times came out with a restaurant of the year last month, and nothing more to the list? Just a #1 and that’s it?

  8. Anajak > Holbox as far as yearly recipients go.

Holbox was my favorite lunch spot when I went to USC. Cool to see it get this recognition

Well deserved. It’s worth it to shell out for the nicer ceviche with uni when you go – makes a big difference in that particular dish.

  11. just went to holbox a couple nights ago and my god it was outstanding

better than some of the mariscos spots i’ve been to in cabo and la paz

Tacos? Holbox is that their name? Never heard of it

Is it really BYOB? Because it’s already reasonably priced, and that’d be, like, wow.

Gilberto deserves everything he gets. He works harder with more heart for his workers than most everyone.

How do you guys sneak your Booze in? Yeti and ask for cups? Put me on!

Chichen Itza > hahah only cause I don’t like seafood, same owner though! The churros at Holbox are great though
