I just take 50g of dry couscous, mix with one scoop of protein powder (I like vanilla, leaves lots of options for toppings. With a neutral flavour veggies and other savoury stuff might work as well), mix that, add about 8oz of boiling water and stir thoroughly. Let set for some minutes and then add toppings. I usually do „Kirschgrütze“, which is a pretty German thing, basically canned cherries (they’re more on the sour side too) and their juice thickened with starch to a saucy consistency.
I came up with this the last time I lost weight about 10 years ago and I love it. Filling, quick and easy and a good start of protein. I usually eat it for breakfast.
