Hello! Very new to making korean foods at home. I’ve made the side dishes before, spinach and Beansprouts. I make the soybean soup all the time. Recently went to the Asian grocery store and saw these. No idea what to do with them. I’ve seen people online chop them up and put on noodles and such? Any easy recommendations for a newbie? What’s the best way to keep them in the fridge? Thanks

Pickled radish are good just as a side to something spicy/salty like ramen and it’s essential in Gimbap.
Eat it
I store mine in a glass jar and empty the juice in the package inside the jar as well. If the juice doesn’t fully cover the radish then I’ve heard of people adding white vinegar. Mine has stored fine as is though as long as it’s kept in the fridge.
I don’t know if it’s of interest, but the left package, the green 시골 means country side, and the right package, the yellow 산골 means mountainside. I think that’s pretty nifty. Probably not too much difference, but I’ve heard mountain side things are supposed to be better somehow… How much better, I don’t know.. but maybe a tiny bit more vitamins/minerals?
But just in case you wanted that bit of info… Lol
