i ate this a while ago at korean bbq and it was super good. it’s not too sour or kimchi ish and quite have a clean taste to it.

can anybody what is this kimchi? or maybe it’s not a kimchi?

    It’s not a kimchi, it’s scallion salad, pa muchim or pa jeori. Scallion salt vinegar sugar sesame oil gochugaru msg. Some times gochujang and sesame seed.

    I get unreasonably upset when this isn’t served with kbbq.

    It’s a little hard to tell but I think it could be green onion salad. 파절이 or 파무침? It’s normally served with korean bbq. It looks like you might have a grill there so I’m guessing that’s what the dish is.

    That’s not actually kimchi it’s called moochim(kinda close to namul) and looks like a regular cho-gochujang base moochim,one you see on many bbq places.
    But not sure what kind of herb/leaf/vegetable but I’m guessing minari or pachae moochim. Both are easily distinguishable by their respective scents so if you have any experience with either pachae or minari you’ll be able to recognize one.
