Very excited to finally try to make some of my favorites in the kitchen! I used an easy recipe from the site “BeyondKimchee” and I think it turned out well! I added some things that needed eating but overall the flavors feel familiar. I don’t know if it’s in my head but I feel like the broth at my local tofu house is thicker but overall I’m very happy!

    This looks great but I’m constantly thickening dishes with a cornstarch slurry*. It’s neutral and doesn’t affect the flavor at all.

    There are tons of other non-roux thickeners which may help as well.

    *Just mix the slurry before adding to heated foods
