The bottom of our crock pot express turbo melted (accidentally turned ON the spice and the pot was on it). Is it still safe to use? What do you guys recommend?

Exposed electronics is not good in most household scenarios, in the kitchen it is an absolute ‘no no’

  2. Your biggest risks are anything metal you accidentally put it on, or a wet surface. I thought you might be able to seal that hole somehow but it looks like there are air vents there also. It’s not worth the risk, even without the risk of shock, I wouldn’t ever want to leave that on and unattended.

Looks fine to me. I’d absolutely use it in your kitchen.

Happened to me and i sadly threw mine away. I wouldn’t keep this one either, you don’t know if something important got damaged & exposed like that is a hazard.

Definitely a no – electrical safety isn’t something to mess with, especially on a device that is on for hours at a time in a kitchen environment.

  6. I’m confused. What do you mean by “Turned on the spice”

Honestly all the wiring looks good. Personally I’d just affix some sort of makeshift base on it but you definitely should not do that.

What part of FIRE don’t you understand?

    Remember Jack?
