What has gotten into Tacodeli? Used to be $75 spend for a $5 off reward. Now with their “new & improved” reward system, it’s $125 spend for a $5 off reward. That’s a 67% increase. Total bullshit

They also make delivery drivers prepare drinks which violates the austin health code.

They’ll never see another dime from me.

Wrote this place off years back. The food isn’t even that good.

The reward system has always been extremely mediocre. That’s not why people eat there.

  4. It’s called a perk, you are lucky they even have a program like this at all

I will never understand the point of loyalty programs. If you make a good product, I’ll keep buying it. It’s such a dumb gimmick.

Taco Deli is mid. Their only redeeming factor is the black beans, other than that, everything is bland.

Quit eating there. Their tacos are among the very worst in town. The mashed potatoes in a taco just boils my fucking blood.

  8. CoffeeVikings

They use mashed potatoes in their breakfast tacos, hard pass

Their app gives you $5 off when you order pickup food. I’ll often order that way to have it ready when I arrive and eat it there. Helps with hungry kids.

  10. Just to to El Chilito instead. Cheaper and better. Still not “authentic” or whatever that is supposed to mean, but it’s tasty, convenient, and reliable.

Also their app has been fucking up lately. And when I go in to order and ask about it, they look at me like a third head has sprouted. It’s always this glazed-over gen z employee who is allergic to quality customer service. They make me feel old. But yeah I’m weak, I’ll be back.

Could be worse. Could be Total Wine when you shop there for years and literally never get anything lol

Gotta say it – why should you get something just because you spend money there?

They’re requiring more points for redeeming rewards and saying it’s “improved” and more “flexible.” Weird corporate spin for a (mostly) local taco shop. Their rewards program is basically like Chipotle’s now.

Meanwhile, at Cabo Bob’s you can still buy 6 burritos and get the 7th free.
