So, what are your top picks to enjoy authentic Italian delicacies in NYC? [Carbone](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FzkUtgO9x0&t=1s) is one that I know about – what else?

Carbone is nonsense for rich tourists. You want the real deal, you go to Arthur Ave in the Bronx. Go to Dominic’s. Walk around and visit the little specialty shops.

I’ll be the ass hole to tell you to search “Italian” in this subreddit. Good luck and enjoy! Buon appetito!

Rezdora is the best Italian restaurant in the city imo. Other places to check out:

Lilia, Don Angie, Via Carota, I Sodi, L’Artusi, Misi.

I love Elios on the upper east side. Classic New York Italian place. Their fish is amazing!

Check out Sottocasa – I have only been to the Harlem location, but this place has fantastic neopolitan style pizza. Recommended to me by someone from Italy who said this was the only place he would go to for pizza.

  6. Marea is still up there, esp the bone marrow & octopus pasta
