Absolutely delicious but definitely a treat we don’t do often. In total we had:

    Live uni (2x orders)
    A dozen oysters
    Fish and chips
    Fresh potato chips
    Their house collab hazy IPA

With tip it was around $158.

To have a whole live uni for $26 per order was pretty solid and there was a lot of meat inside the uni (or reproductive organs from my understanding). But the oysters were super fresh and loved the accompanying fresh horseradish and mignonette. Was surprised to find they were Massachusetts oysters but I guess summertime is too warm for Pacific oysters.

Love these guys. Their lobster rolls and stuffed oysters are amazing

    This is a semi-related question–

I saw that Luxe Seafood (seafood distributor for a lot of high-end spots) does home deliveries now.

If I want to just eat a bunch of raw bar stuff like oysters and uni, it should be just as good as Broad Street if I order it to eat at home right? Never cleaned uni, but can’t be time consuming…right?

Man 15 years ago the sushi restaurant I worked at had an AYCE uni night for $50! What a deal that was.

It was a special night for the loyal customers but still

Love Broad Street, but unfortunately the oysters are a rip off. You’re a seafood shack with a takeout window; why these oysters cost literally more than they do at Del Frisco’s?

LOVE Broad Street. If lobster rolls count as a sandwich, their lobster roll is the best sandwich in the LA area.

I love broad street but am shocked at the tipping ipad. There is ALWAYS a line and then people are tipping 20-25% for “take out”.

And the food is not cheap. They are making BANK off those tips. A constant flow of customers tipping 20% at the prices of a good “sit down restaurant”.
