    Seafood like octopus/squid/shrimp. With the dipping sauce of course. Served hot enough to burn your mouth.

    There’s a place in Songpa I went to that specialized in all kinds of jeon and anju, not expensive but so good and everything tastes amazing. Hoping I can go again soon.

    My favorite Korean place makes one with lion’s mane mushroom and scallions, and it’s absolutely wonderful. I could eat that every day forever. It’s quite crunchy compared to most I’ve seen / had — I think they’re shallow fried

    Potato or cabbage. 배추전 is massively underrated, especially if it’s made with 메밀.

    What can I say, my heart is in 강원도.

    I love all types of 전!! Some honorable mentions include 배추전, 감자전, 생선전, 깻잎전 and 고추전 🙂
