Anyone give this a try? How is it? I am going to rub it on some thighs. (Chicken. Maybe my girlfriend’s if she’s feeling up to it.) tia.

It’s ok. Definitely spicy

Had it several times on bbq chicken just as a rub. Keep the amount you use on the conservative side!

Super salty and a decent heat- I’m a fan

It’s legit, very sexy time with grill pork chops or chicken
Chicken-picante
Super salty. It taste alright but it doesn’t scratch that jerk itch.

Tasty and decent heat but as others have mentioned, pretty salty. Decent as a rub. I keep a mild on hand for the missus as well.

It’s the best I’ve tried. The Aardvark one tastes OK too, but is more salty. This is legit. But you only need to marinade the day of.. and maybe only 4 hours for stuff like steaks. I ruined two steaks once marinating them overnight. Very powerful flavor.

I love jerk seasoning. Honestly better that than say ghost pepper or something.

5-stars. One of the best and easiest to find on the shelf jerk paste er, marinades in the game. I marinate at least overnight and sometimes two nights, and then fire up the charcoal grill. Or oven baked to speed things up.

I liked it a lot

It’s pretty damn good. I like to have tastes just on its own to feel that sweet burn.

It’s a normal condiment for me (one of perhaps 10 that I replace as soon as they run out).
Normally, I use it as a tofu marinade/rub. Freeze/defrost/press/slice tofu; mix 1 Tbsp each: Jerk seasoning, oil, & water; and coat the tofu slices evenly. Can also be left in the sauce in a ziplock for a while to absorb flavors.

Too salty.
HankScorpion-
Chop up a scotch bonnet or 2, throw in some thyme and a bit of honey with this marinade on chicken/pork/shrimp and you’re laughing all the way to flavortown

My favorite store bought brand.

It’s good, but needs a few chopped up habaneros to bring it to life.

I tried this once and didn’t like it bc it felt like I was eating twigs. You’re better off making homemade

In all seriousness what I usually do is mix that one (red bottle) with the green bottle (mild) about 50/50, like others have said overnight is best but 3-4 hrs minimum. It’s good on most any protein, although I usually do chicken and pork most often. You don’t need anything else as far as seasoning with this stuff. To those saying it was salty, you used too much.

I use this all the time on my air fried wings. Love it.

This stuff is great. I smoke jerk chicken thighs using this and they turn out so good
