Finally pulled the trigger on an ice cream machine after years of wanting one. I absolutely love corn, so it’s fitting that my first batch of ice cream is corn flavored. The corn base is very corn forward (which I love), but may be too strong for others so I added cinnamon crumble.

No true recipe as I combined it from multiple sources (which I’m surprised worked), but loosely inspired by Stellanspice’s recipe for her pop up.

I cooked one whole cob of corn into the base. It is VERY corn forward. I don’t think there would be a need for more than 1 cob of corn.

I didn’t use any additional stabilizers(I have xanthan gum but forgot to add it) so my ice cream came out pretty soft, I’m not sure if it’s because I didn’t churn enough or lack of stabilizers. But for a first time go, I’m satisfied!
