Was surprised to see that Steve Dolinsky’s second year of Pizza City Fest was such a big bust. [Michael Nagrant writes about his concerns with Steve in his substack](https://thehunger.substack.com/p/pizza-city-fest-has-no-sauce) \- thought it might be of interest here.
Anyone go to this, or has anyone done his pizza tours?

I remember listening to his podcast with Rick Bayless awhile back and then it suddenly ending… not sure what happened there either
Fwiw I went with a group of 3 and all of us had a great time. Tried ~8-9 slices plus cookies and sausages. Also drank a bunch of drinks. Lines were there but fine.
“My husband LOVES pizza it was a dream…”
I know they aren’t but these people sound like bots. Guess that’s the type to spend $100 to go eat pizza.
You should post this on the main sub
Heard day 1 was a nightmare but we went on day 2 and had a blast, ate like 6 slices each then got a box and took home 8 slices ate like 4 cookies some Italian ices and had like 4 cocktails and contemplated an Italian combo but was way to full to put more food down
thank god the actual pizza summit is coming back. steve dolinsky is a fucking hack.
Sounds like day 1 sucked for a lot of people because of the power going out before it opened and day 2 was fine.
How tf did a guy from California become the pizza guru?
