In this video, we show you how to make Moroccan Fish Tagine. Tagine is a traditional Clay vessel that is used to cook almost anything in Morocco, and today we show you how to make a delicious Moroccan Fish Tagine with vegetables. We have made this Fish Tagine using Cod but you can use any white fish of your choice. The fish and vegetables cooked in a tagine are so flavourful, tender, juicy and just packed full of flavour. If you don’t have a tagine then you can cook in a casserole pot or in the oven, and adjust the cooking times accordingly.
This Moroccan Fish Tagine is another highly recommended recipe that you guys must try as the flavours are incredible and the gravy that you get at the end is just mind-blowing!
To make the Moroccan Fish Tagine you will need:
1. Marinade (also called chermoula or charmoula):
2 tbs olive oil
1 crushed garlic clove
flesh of 1 preserved lemon (save the peel for later)
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp finely chopped coriander
1 tsp finely chopped parsley
1 tbs tomato puree
salt to taste (preserved lemons can be salty)
4 tbs saffron water
fresh lemon juice (small piece)
white fish of your choice (we used cod fillets)
2. Prepare the Tagine
1 tbs olive oil
half an onion
1 carrot
1 small tomato
1 small potato
red and green capsicum pieces
handful of green olives
preserved lemon peel
finely chopped coriander and parsley
We served this delicious fish Tagine with a Moroccan spiced bulgar salad, with some cinnamon oranges on the side (like what we always used to get during our trips to Marrakech)! This fish tagine can also be served with couscous or toasted bread.
We hope you have seen how easy it is to prepare this delicious Moroccan Fish Tagine with vegetables, and we hope you can put your tagine to use with this amazing recipe. If you do not have a tagine then you can apply the same ingredients and cook it in a pot on the stove (like a casserole pot) or even bake it in the oven (adjust cooking times accordingly).

I guess tagine works like some kind of a flavor booster here. I can already imagine the juicyness. (✯ᴗ✯)

Thank you for the video
Wow! As always you amaze me with these dishes! So much flavor, and of course the editing and presentation are magnificent. I loved the final table with all the sides as well, it looks like a full dinner, nice and satisfying. Also loved that marinade on the fish. Yummy!

Moroccan Fish Tagine oh yes absolutely stunning cooking once again Don Imran….I'll have mine with toasted bread please😋👍!!!
Hello from marocain in United states ✌👍👍👍👍
I just tried to cook your recipe and it came out delicious! My husband is from Morocco and if I want to make anything new, definitely I would check a moroccan cuisine video. Best of luck!
This is a neat idea to mix everything for the marinade including the preserved lemon flesh together, one wants to make yummy food but quickly and this recipe is fairly snappy, I cook chicken tagine Moroccan style the traditional way but it’s more time consuming, haven’t tried fish tagine but will do and let you know!
I like the presentation…looks juicy and really love the colour..🤤🤤🤤🤤
Looks great, should you add water if you wanna cook it in the oven?
This is an absolute masterpiece. Keep coming back to it and it's always a hit 🙂
Found your channel by accident and trying out this recipe after getting a tagine from Costco. Hit like and subscribe
Lovin your recipes Bro. Many thanks❤
Just cooked this with Bulgur Pilav, really lovely. Finishing with cinamon oranges with yoghurt. Thank you
The next time I fix this I will leave out the Cayenne pepper, and only use 1/4 of the fermented lemon. All I could taste was the Cayenne pepper and the lemon
I tried to make Fish tagine and it was so delicious 😋
Cam-on hurry up…
