Shim in place to stop timer

    I noticed before a few people had these for canning and mentioned they had to constantly reset the timer every 15min. Well I put a shim in there and it defeated the timer.

    lol i guess that works. I didn’t know those would only run for 15 minutes at a time though. Too many thanksgiving fryer fires i guess

    Does the pot stay level on the gravel bed? Will it use more propane than necessary compared to a stove?
