  2. I won't try this recipe, it only LOOKS like mashed potatoes. But honestly, it's going to just be a big chunk of cauliflower taste, gross. Like you have what, few seasoning, some garlic, and a square of butter, and the rest is like 90% cauliflower. Sorry, but I need something my kids can actually stomach.

  6. People need to stop calling it cauliflower mashed potatoes! It's mashed cauliflower and you all can keep it, I'll stick to my mashed potatoes!

  7. I only have a hand held potato smasher, and there is no way you would confuse this with mashed potatoes. It was good, but even flavor wise, unless you made it loaded mashed potatoes that had a bunch of other stuff in it to disguise the taste, I'm not buying it. …but, with the hand smasher, I can see some other possibilities, like making a parmesan or mushroom style risotto. My texture was very similar to rice, so I could see that working very well. I guess I need to get an immersion blender, but still think Cauliflower would work better as a risotto than mashed potatoes.

  8. Cook with Avocado oil instead of Olive oil. Olive oil has a much lower smoke point which makes it very bad to digest after cooking with it. Just throwing that out there. Use your olive oil as a dressing for your veggies after they've been cooked, or add it to whatever you've made AFTER it's been cooked.

  9. Yes but NEVER throw away the water where all the vitamins and minerals remain. Save it to a cup or bowl add fresh lemon juice drink warm while you finish cooking. Or refrigerate and use as stock in your next soup or after cooking the next pasta dish while your adding butter and oil.

  11. Looks delicious. I keep forgetting about my steamer gizmo – thanks for reminding me. I am a low carb guy, and I make cauliflower mash often. Only recently, I've added butter beans to the mix. Not only does that add protein, but gives the mash added texture and flavour. 😋

  12. Great recipe and very nice video but if you want to make this recipe even more deliriously delicious… Just before you mash your cauliflower,.. Add 2 tablespoons of philly cream cheese. It takes this dish to another level.

  13. since I got an eating disability cooking for me is a bit tricky but I got a best friend who is very exited to experiment and she loved this when we tred it, so mashed cauliflower with dry rubbed zaatar chicken wings are now our staple dish whenever I visit her ^^.
    She also makes it herself despite being able to have mashed potatos just fine
