Sits next to person eating eggs on a plane. Thirty (30) minutes later … “OMG what’s that smell?” 💨 💨 💨

Can I offer you an egg in this trying time?

    Please don’t buy those.
    1. They’re old and you’re going to stink in public
    2. They should cost $1 but you’re paying for someone to hard boil and peel them which is costly.

We’re seriously complaining about prices of airport food on this sub now?

Damn. That’s a whole rotisserie chicken at any grocer. Eggs not included.

Why did you decide to buy the worst food at the airport? This is more of a you problem.

My egg guy is usually hanging out under the TV at Gate 17. He wears a trench coat, can’t miss him, $2 an egg cash only.

You can bring regular food through TSA. I usually bring subs, but have brought salads (in those plastic bowls), pizza (in a box/ paper bag). They just go through the X-ray machine and are occasionally swabbed, but just be nice to the TSA guy and they generally don’t care.

Also, the Tacodeli is basically regularly priced, so is my go to option if I don’t bring food beforehand. The thundercloud is like 2x normal prices.

This might be the dumbest response ever but $3.11 for a half dozen at HEB and you just reminded me to put some on my curbside tomorrow. I’m an ex sous chef and for some reason boiling and peeling eggs is my kryptonite and I love them. Please apologize to your other travelers when you start stinking the airplane up. You could have got a breakfast taco, damn Yankee in my town.
