Hi Guys,
I had no idea this sub existed. So stoked to find yall. Recently I’ve been addicted to making homemade guac. No idea why. Here is a little poem to kickoff my first topic here! And of course the guac I made today..

Sixty minutes to craft and blend,
Yet in sixty seconds, its journey would end.
In the mortar, the grind, a dance of delight,
Releasing flavors that burst into sight.
Ginger joins in, igniting the blaze,
Fire and zest in this green, sacred maze.
Guacamole, an art with forms so wide,
Countless renditions, none to divide.
A journey to become a true Guac Guru,
Blending tradition with flavors anew.

The addition of ginger is interesting! How do you compare it to gingerless guac? A sweet, spicy and bright flavor seem to go nicely with the others. Glad you found us and keep up the poetry! I don’t think I’ve seen that here before.
