Have you ever farted a little too hard and poo poo comes out of your booty?
Looked at a whole bunch of gambas recipes before deciding on this one. The deciding factors were the smoked paprika and the sherry. I have to say, those two ingredients put your recipe head and shoulders above the others. It was delicious!!!
Thanks for sharing your version of this timeless Spanish favorite.
Never seen paprika added…
Nice touch.
Ay Dios Mio!
Made it with dry sake instead of the sherry and loved it. I'm tempted to switch out the olive oil for butter…droooool…
What is that thing he's doing with his voice in every video?
I’m a member and I can’t get to the actual ingredients amounts. What am I doing wrong?
OMG = YDM q Rico !!
Always fantastic, thanks
Why you sing when you talk
Are you Spanish ?
That needs at least 14 times more garlic than that
I live in the netherlands and not only people say, but also dutch websites are saying that extra virgin olive oil is not suitable for coocking. It would release toxic substances. Is this not happening with the oil from spain?
Ay dios mio = OMG
Great recipe and thanks for the tip re frozen shrimp. Just wondering did you use black tiger shrimp for this? Makes a difference using Spanish Olive Oil–a good one. Thanks so much–another great tapas!
Gambas al ajillo! YUMMY!
Had to mute annoying voice
Most clay pots for cooking (like the one shown, I presume) are made for *cooking in!*. There are plenty sites to inform you how to season the clay before first use and how to clean and maintain. I post this because I am quite familiar with this recipe and its traditional cooking method. Look up “CAZUELA DE BARRO: CUÍDALA Y TENLA TODA LA VIDA”. This site is in Spanish bur again, you might be able to find it in English or another native language of yours.
Now on your twist? I like the smoke paprika and would give it a try. Unfortunately I am the only one in my home that knows the secrets of this ancient Spanish condiment. Said unfortunately? Scratch that. More gambas for me.
Leave on the shell…there is tasty fat between the flesh and shell
WhY You TaLK LikE That-? love it
For OMG you can say ay caramba amigos, es muy sabrosa!
A Dios Mio!
It's not over until the fat lady sings.
Lovely recipe. Thank you.
Great cooking. But why do you have to speak like that? It's really annoying
Narration was annoying. I’m being honest.
As shrimple as that
I never realized how much Koreans eat garlic lol
Gambas recipes on Korean cooking channels put in 15+ cloves lolo
will try the sherry tho, great tip
Simple and delicious! Thank you!
A favorite Tapa !!!
Made it today for my wife, sister in law and 4 kids.
No leftovers. Thanks brother
Amazing recipe. For that matter, all the recipes from Chef John I have tried, the results have been fantastic. Also, he makes it fun the way he talks you through the recipe.
Of course, I'm gonna go with the Spanish hot smoked paprika.
Thanks, Chef John! Y'all amazing as always.
OMG – Dios mio !
OMG in Spanish is Ohh Dios mío!! ❤
omg! Dios mio ❤️
Lads, they serve it with 3 times this amount of olive oil in Spain. It's not so much sauce as flavoured oil
You forget to put the guindilla with the garlic
The voice for me
Damn.
The intonation of THIS guy's VOICE
Made this and my 2 roommates are obsessed now. <3
