β€’ 1 lb strawberries
β€’ 3.5 oz 100g 70% dark chocolate
β€’ 3.5 oz 100g white chocolate

βœ…Instructions

00:00:55 – How to melt chocolate in the microwave
00:02:07 – How to melt chocolate in a double boiler

1️⃣ 00:00:16 – Wash strawberries leaving on the green parts, then pat dry with a paper towel to make sure they are very very dry.

2️⃣ Reserve a little bit of both chocolates and chop into small bits on a chopping board. Melt rest of chocolate in a double boiler or microwave as instructed above in the blog post.

3️⃣ 00:01:31 – Take the strawberries by the green part between your fingers and dip the strawberries into the melted chocolate. Then place on a lined baking sheet and sprinkle with chopped chocolate.

4️⃣ 00:02:43 – Put in the fridge to harden for at least 1 hour, better several hours or overnight.

  1. Why do my strawberries seep juice after covering them with the chocolate.. I dry them really good after washing them.

  3. Chocolate wafers are made with cocoa, but chocolate chips contain cocoa butter. How do you keep the dipped strawberries from getting that dull bloom if you use chocolate chips and you don’t temper your chocolate chips.

  4. Wow. 48 h… madam, it seems you have no idea what you advise.. after you dipped strawberries, they won’t taste good even 24 h. Sooner you consume, better the quality. In 48 h, chocolate will be disgusting after contacting for so long with a sweaty strawberry. And there is no way that strawberries are not getting sweaty unless you keep them in a wine fridge with a perfect humidity control.

  5. Don't miss out on this awesome treat by fully covering the strawberry and pop them in the freezer. Yeah the fruit turns to mush but it's awesome mush, eat them after about 20 minutes from frozen, just wonderful.
