I made this last night and was amazed at how good it was. Don’t have cost per plate as it was a pantry shop for me. Also I used powdered coconut milk mix which is a great pantry staple if you like to make soups, smoothie and curries. And homemade bone broth from a whole chicken cook of course!

    I cook lentils with potatoes. Always braise them before. And the more garlic the better.

    I make a very similar one in my pressure cooker. It’s excellent. Freezes well too.
