ingredients
400 gr chestnut flour
30 ml rum
2 tablespoons sugar
pinch of salt
50 gr pine nuts
50 gr walnuts
100 gr raisins
500 ml water
rosemary
Extra virgin olive oil
Instruction
sieve 400 gr of chestnut flour
add a little at a time 500 ml of water and 30 ml of rum (normally I leave the raisins to soak in rum for an hour and then use it for the mixture)
mix well to obtain a liquid mixture without lumps
add 2 tablespoons of sugar and a pinch of salt
a teaspoon of orange zest
50 gr of pine nuts
50 gr of walnuts
100 gr of raisins
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
and mix well
let it rest for at least an hour
Grease a round baking pan of xx cm diameter with a couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
pour in the dough
scatter some rosemary, chopped walnuts and pine nuts on top of the mixture.
bake in a hot oven at xxx ° for 40 minutes
let the castagnaccio cool down before tasting it

I have chestnut trees I planted and now I harvest buckets of chestnuts. Looks like a good way to use them.
