My husband helped me can the other day, I told him to make sure he burps the cans before putting on the lids while I was blanching and doing other things. Are these air bubbles okay? We did almost 100 lbs of tomatoes,

Yes, provided you did everything else up to standard. You can just agitate the tomatoes to homogenize everything inside and it’ll be more aesthetically pleasing.

Totally fine as long as you followed an approved recipe. It’s impossible to get all the air out.
