I took all the really gone branches off, I’m gonna take the really gone leaves off tomorrow. They’re obviously over; we’ve had an insane last minute heat wave and I think this is rational. About 15 fruit of various sizes left. Why is this so emotionally draining lol?

your pots are to small. nutrients are gone from soil. double the size and you should have better luck and much bigger plants/yields next time. 1 plant per pot. that size is good for peppers.
It’s fine. There’s really no benefit to keeping diseased or stressed foliage on a plant anyway.
Spacing these a little more apart and bottom pruning early in the season will help keep your foliage looking healthier next year.
BTW. I like the 🦭 with the rubber duckies.
