Full, meaty, and lovely. Really shine when you add acidity (like most sardines). The preserved lemon itself is underneath the filets and slightly sweet. Nabbed for about $8.80 at my local Whole Foods, which puzzlingly I think is a better deal than the fishwife website?? This tin is definitely more worth it for its price than some of their other offerings! (which are tins I enjoy, but can’t justify myself spending regularly for the amount).
Not something I will purchase regularly but still a tasty tin I could see treating myself to from time to time 🙂
